Gardens
Members of the Schaumburg Garden Club raise fresh vegetables in a “Pantry Garden” of nearly 4,000 square feet on Lord of Life property. All of the harvest is donated to the Schaumburg Township Food Pantry, which serves approximately 450 households every month. In a typical summer, the garden yields over 1,000 pounds of tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplant, green beans, onions, zucchini, squash, broccoli, and peppers. Thanks to the Schaumburg Garden Club for partnering with Lord of Life to provide this vital ministry!
